Field Tour: Native Landscaping at Bernheim and Local Distillery

Participants on this tour will head to Bernheim Research Forest & Arboretum to view their native prairie and walk where giants roam.  Learn about Bernheim's unique conservation and landscaping strategy and how these efforts complement their mission of connecting with nature through art and education.  Participants will see Bernheim's forest giants, installed by Danish Artist Thomas Dambo and made from recycled wood.  Participants will also visit a local bourbon distillery to learn more about how they are using native landscaping as an alternative to traditional landscapes.
